Meet Our Team

President

Jeff Matesevac

Jeff is one of the founding members of M&B Machine. After years of working for other companies, Jeff took a chance on opening his own business. Over twenty years later, his hard work and determination has grown M&B into the company it is today. His knowledge in all areas of machining-from engineering to CAD design to CNC programming-is unparalleled, and he has continuously strived to pass that knowledge down to his employees. Unlike larger companies where employees only know the president’s name, Jeff can be found out on the shop floor on a daily basis, interacting with all employees in both a team and one-on-one setting. He resides in Mechanicsburg with his wife Melanie and his hobbies include anything outdoors and enjoying all types of food!

General Manager

Dave Nesmith

Dave’s career in machining began at the age of 15. After high school, he went on to receive a degree in Business Management from Shippensburg University while also receiving his machinist papers from the state of PA as a Certified Journeyman Machinist. He has since worked in machine shop management for the past 32 years. In his current role as GM at M&B Machine he works closely with Jeff and Larissa to manage the day to day operations of the business. When not working Dave enjoys spending time with his family and his beloved dog Zoe. He also enjoys being outdoors and going on vacations to far away places.

Operations Manager

Larissa Matesevac

Larissa started at M&B Machine in 2014 as a production assembly associate. As her knowledge of the manufacturing industry grew, she became more and more involved in the “day to day” operations of the business. As Operations Manager, she oversees M&B’s human resources, accounting, marketing, and purchasing departments in addition to serving as the Quality Management Representative for M&B’s ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System. With a degree in visual media from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Larissa also brings to the team a unique knowledge in the areas of photography and design, which are particularly useful in M&B’s marketing and laser engraving departments. Larissa lives in Mechanicsburg with her husband and dog, Penny.

Shop Supervisor

Thomas Getz

Tom is one of M&B’s longest serving employees. Originally hired as the “saw guy”, Tom’s ability to oversee all the happenings on the shop floor was quickly made apparent and he now serves as our shop floor supervisor. While he can still occasionally be found at the saw, his presence on the shop floor has greatly increased M&B’s efficiency and level of service. In his spare time Tom is an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Enola Sportsmen’s Association.

Quality Control Manager

Shane Mullen

Like many of our employees, Shane began on the ground floor in his position with M&B and grew into his current role as Quality Control Manager. Shane’s attention to detail is unparalleled and his knack for catching even the most hidden characteristics of prints or parts makes him an amazing fit for the position. His passion for continual improvement has propelled our quality department forward by leaps and bounds. In his free time Shane is an accomplished guitarist and can be found playing numerous gigs throughout the year.

Manufacturing Engineer

Ben Smyser

From his many years as a child working alongside his father in their home shop, Ben knew that working on mechanical items and creating items with his hands was in his future. An education at CPAVTS and Big Spring high school allowed him to jump right into the industry following graduation. Ben came to our shop in November of 2011. With his twenty years of experience, he has helped the team at M&B Machine, Inc. to more efficiently meet the demands of our customers. His knowledge and skill with SolidWorks and Mastercam programming allows M&B to tackle more complex jobs. Ben enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors with family and friends, but especially with his wife, Andrea and their dog, Franny. He also enjoys flexing his culinary skills through canning, smoking different meats, and cooking over a fire.
